Position Overview:
We’re seeking a motivated Design Assistant to support our design team with project logistics, organization, and client deliverables. You’ll play a key role in keeping projects on track—managing samples, vendor communication, and documentation while learning the foundations of design execution in a boutique, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
● Assist designers with material sourcing, sample organization, and vendor outreach.
● Track purchase orders, deliveries, and project schedules to ensure smooth execution.
● Prepare and organize client presentations and documentation.
● Maintain the materials library and project archives.
● Support on-site installations, photoshoots, and client meetings.
● Liaise with showrooms, fabricators, and contractors to gather and track information.
● Provide general administrative and project support to the design team.
Qualifications:
● 1–3 years of experience in a design or project coordination role preferred.
● Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Fine Arts, or related field a plus.
● Strong experience in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketchup, and InDesign
● Knowledge of design process - FF&E, specifications, finish, and material selections
● Strong organizational and communication skills.
● Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic studio environment.
● Proficiency in Cloud Based Systems; experience with Design Manager a plus.
● Enthusiastic, resourceful, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team.
