Team Lead - Event Marketing
The Events Team Lead is responsible for assisting with the planning, organizing, and executing events that generate qualified leads and maximize public exposure for Zion Outdoors. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, including coordinating event logistics, leading on-site staff, and ensuring every event runs smoothly and represents the brand at a high level.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Search for events- Research and evaluate event opportunities that attract our ideal customer base.
- Coach- Coordinate One-on-Ones & Going over Individual Growth Plans for Brand Ambassadors on the team.
- Train and supervise event staff, up to 8 brand ambassadors, ensuring high performance and professionalism.
- Team Schedule- Create, manage, and update staff schedules
- Manage event logistics, including scheduling, setup, maintenance, and teardown of booths, displays, and materials.
- Work in the field alongside the team, leading by example and setting appointments- Represent Zion Outdoors at events, engaging with the public, sponsors, and partners to build strong relationships.
- Attend and assist with bi-weekly team meetings
- Clover leaf at an installation at least one day a week
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or related experience preferred
- Reliable Transportation (Required)
- Ability to be on your feet for up to 8 hours
- A cellphone to use for communication
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs on occasion
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in marketing, sales, or the outdoor living/home improvement industry is a plus

- Great motivation skills: Encouraging and empowering team members to reach their potential and stay engaged.

Compensation and Benefits
- $22/hr.
- Part-Time/Full-Time: (30+ hrs per wk)
- Performance Bonuses: Up to $25k available based on event success and lead generation results
