Role Description:
The Associate will join the Firm's Investor Relations function, reporting to the Head of Investor Relations. This individual will serve as a core member of the IR team, supporting day-to-day investor relations processes, fundraising activities, and strategic firm initiatives. The Associate will work closely with senior leadership across the Firm and gain broad exposure to the Firm's LP relationships, marketing processes, and internal portfolio management efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support LP relationship management and investor communications, including preparation of DDQ responses, marketing materials, and investor collateral
- Assist in the preparation and execution of fundraising processes, LP roadshows, and annual meeting logistics
- Maintain and update marketing materials, fund documentation, and performance reporting in coordination with the IR team
- Coordinate with deal teams on portfolio company valuations and related reporting processes
- Drive forward operational and process-oriented projects within IR and Strategy, including capital structure initiatives and other firm-level workstreams
- Support data analysis and Excel-based work underpinning LP reporting and portfolio management
- Contribute to firm-level initiatives at the direction of senior leadership, including AI-related projects and other strategic priorities
Candidate Experience:
- Process orientation and organizational rigor: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with high attention to detail; experience driving processes to completion with minimal oversight
- Analytical and quantitative capability: Proficiency in Excel and comfort with data-intensive work; ability to structure and manipulate datasets in support of LP reporting and marketing deliverables
- Communication and presentation skills: Strong written and verbal communication; experience producing polished materials for internal or external audiences
- Background: Two to four years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or a comparable analytical environment; candidates from FSG, FIG, or private equity-adjacent practices are of particular interest; prior IR or capital formation experience is a plus but not required
- Intellectual curiosity and team orientation: Genuine interest in private equity and investor relations; collaborative working style and willingness to contribute across diverse firm initiatives
- Professional judgment: Maturity, discretion, and the ability to operate effectively in a lean, high-performing team environment alongside senior leadership
