Public Relations Internship Opportunity at AZIONE PR (NYC Office)

AZIONE PR, an award-winning public relations and creative communications agency, is seeking dedicated Public Relations Interns to support our media NYC team. This unpaid, for-credit internship offers hands-on experience in PR, media relations, and industry research, providing the opportunity to work closely with top-tier brands and gain valuable insight into the communications field.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the public relations and media industry, particularly within the fashion category
- Assist in press reporting measures, including clipping, tracking, and monitoring media coverage
- Create targeted media lists tied to specific launches or initiatives
- Audit brand competitors and conduct research surrounding trends in the industry
- Draft pitches and gifting asks for media outreach
- Provide administrative support such as assembling and shipping media mailers, fulfilling product requests, and maintaining office organization
Ideal Candidate
- Currently enrolled in college and eligible for a for-credit internship
- Majoring in communications, public relations, or a related field
- Strong interest in PR and the beauty/fashion/wellness/lifestyle space
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Prior PR or communications experience is a plus, but not required
Internship Details
- Location: Tribeca, Manhattan Office
- Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays or Mondays or Wednesday will be in-office, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Start Date: August or September 2026 (Fall semester)
- Compensation: Unpaid, for-credit internship
