We are seeking a mid- to senior-level Swim Technical Designer to join a growing team in Orange County. This is a hybrid, temp-to-hire opportunity for someone with strong swimwear technical design experience and a hands-on approach to fit, construction, and product development.

Swim Technical Designer
Responsibilities
- Own technical design and fit execution across swimwear categories.
- Create and maintain detailed tech packs, measurements, specifications, and construction details.
- Lead fit sessions and provide clear fit comments to vendors.
- Partner with design, product development, and production teams through the full development cycle.
- Review samples for fit, quality, construction, and consistency with design intent.
- Support grading, measurement approvals, and garment construction decisions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical design experience, with strong swimwear experience required.
- Strong knowledge of swim fit, fabrics, trims, construction, and garment specifications.
- Experience creating tech packs and communicating fit comments with overseas vendors.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple development timelines.
- Available to work in a hybrid capacity in the Orange County area.
- This role is expected to begin as a temporary assignment with the potential to convert to a full-time position.
Pay range
$85,000-$100,000
