This role is Hybrid and requires 3 days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), based conveniently in Midtown Manhattan near the Empire State Building.
About The Job:
Come join our growing team as the new Associate Account Executive! You will report directly to the CEO and have full visibility to all things happening within the Company. You will be responsible for providing support to successfully achieve and surpass the sales & profit objectives of the Sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist wholesale clients with inquiries and provide information as needed.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify potential leads.
- Maintain and monitor selling reports for all major accounts.
- Maintain seasonal order confirmations and ensure weekly shipping updates are delivered promptly.
- Check vendor orders for accuracy and assist in order processing, EDI/order confirmation process, and shipment tracking.
- Participate in sales meeting and responsible for follow up.
- Perform data entry duties related to item set up, and develop an understanding of different customer portals.
- Generate, manage, update, maintain and distribute reports on a weekly basis related to sales activities.
- Assist in selecting and building product offerings in Excel to load into customer sites/portals.
- Enter data on specific templates to submit to retail sites for approval.
- Work with the Marketing department to deliver product images for all the items included on the submission templates and forward them to retailers as per individual requirements.
- Review customer websites to ensure product presentation conforms to branded guidelines.
- Perform ongoing maintenance for specific retailers to correct any inaccuracies appearing in product descriptions, specifications, images, etc.
- Manage NuOrder platform (data upload, maintenance and order entry)
We’d love to meet you if you have:
- 2+ years of sales experience with wholesale channels for women’s bags and accessories
- Understanding of retailer marketplaces & dropship/setup
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a focus on long-term goals
