JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sales Specialist / Manager – Private Label is responsible for managing and expanding customer accounts while achieving sales targets. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, leading customer-specific sales and new product development initiatives and ensuring that the product portfolio delivers maximum value for both NPIC and its customers.
Essential Functions
· Serve as the primary advocate for customers by applying a deep understanding of NPIC’s strategies, goals, and processes to ensure long-term success.
· Act as the main point of contact for customer needs, collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver effective solutions.
· Plan and execute customer-specific initiatives, such as new product launches and price changes, while tracking and reporting outcomes.
· Manage direct customer relationships through regular monthly calls.
· Conduct quarterly business reviews to uncover growth opportunities and implement action plans to close sales gaps.
· Represent the company at regional and national events, engaging with current and prospective customers.
· Acquire new customers through existing networks, trade shows, and lead generation efforts.
· Partner with Finance to conduct credit and background checks on prospective customers and complete system setups.
· Lead the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring smooth integration.
· Collaborate with Customer Service to address and resolve sales or service concerns.
