We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) who thrives in an outbound sales environment. This role is critical to our revenue growth, responsible for sourcing, engaging, and qualifying prospects to build a robust pipeline for our sales team. You will work closely with RevOps and other sales team members to develop targeted lead lists and execute strategic outbound campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outbound Prospecting: Generate new business opportunities through cold calls, emails, and personalized video outreach to supply chain, operations, IT, and finance leaders.
- Lead Development: Collaborate with RevOps and Account Executives to identify and refine target accounts based on industry trends and company data.
- Cold Calling & Video Selling: Confidently engage with prospects via phone and video to introduce Leverage’s value proposition and qualify interest.
- Pipeline Building: Own the top-of-funnel strategy, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality leads into the sales pipeline.
- Qualification & Discovery: Conduct high-level discovery conversations to assess pain points related to purchase order automation, supplier performance, and supply chain visibility.
- Experimentation & Optimization: Apply a scientific approach to outbound sales—testing messaging, call scripts, and sequences to refine outreach effectiveness.
- CRM & Data Management: Maintain detailed records of prospect interactions and next steps in HubSpot, ensuring data accuracy and transparency.
Who You Are:
- Proven Performer: You are currently a top-performing SDR, consistently meeting or exceeding industry-standard pipeline and revenue contribution targets.
- Relentlessly Outbound: You are comfortable making 60+ cold calls per day and can confidently handle objections, hold meaningful conversations, and drive next steps.
- Highly Coachable: You seek feedback and iterate quickly to improve your approach.
- Process-Driven & Analytical: You embrace structure, track your metrics, and continuously refine your approach based on data.
- Industry Experience (Preferred): Prior experience selling to supply chain, manufacturing, or procurement teams is a strong plus.
- SaaS & Startup Mindset: Experience in an early-stage, high-growth SaaS environment is preferred, where adaptability and resilience are key.
