The Opportunity
Bucket Listers is looking for a Business Development Coordinator to join our growing Business Development team in our next chapter of growth. Over the past few years, we’ve built an incredible marketplace in cities across the US; this role will be essential to driving team efficiency and organization as we expand with new partners and add more inventory to our platform.
In this dynamic, fast-paced role, you will dive into new and exciting Business Development projects as they arise. We’ll look to you to complete comprehensive competitive research and to build out proposals and strategies to execute and scale new initiatives. Areas of focus may include: project coordination, partner relations, proposal/contract development, organization, and other strategic initiatives.
In this role, you will:
- Learn the ins and outs of the Business Development team, digging deeper into our current processes and internal operations, learning the intricacies of our various types of partnerships and identifying areas to drive even more value.
- Work with the Sales Operations team on lead generation for assigned categories
- Own sales outreach for the BD Directors and Leads and collaborate with them on inbound and bound sales activity
- Maintain competitive analyses for our industry, highlighting trends and areas of opportunity and growth.
- Aid the Business Development team on various departmental support initiatives, acting as a generalist across all facets of the department.
- Own strategic initiatives across the department, using your project coordination skills to keep the team organized and efficient.
- Work cross-functionally with internal partners across the Content, Operations, Finance, Product, and Business Development teams, learning our systems as you collaborate with internal and external partners.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of Project Coordination experience in a Sales environment; startup experience a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Extremely organized multi-tasker who can balance multiple projects and priorities at once.
- Analytically driven with the ability to distill information across a variety of experience levels.
- Strong collaborator and relationship builder through high levels of customer service, integrity and professionalism.
- Extremely resourceful and autonomous in execution.
- Self-starter and highly motivated; capable of working independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
- G-Suite expert (Slides, Sheets, Drive, etc.)
- Passionate about the Bucket Listers mission.
- CRM experience a plus
