As the Coordinator, Awards you will support the Disney Entertainment Awards team and work closely with the VP and Senior Manager of Awards to enhance the functionality, efficiency and productivity of the team overall. As a team, we work across multiple platforms (Hulu, ABC, ABC News, 20th Television, Nat Geo, Onyx, Freeform and Disney Branded Television), interacting with cross functional teams in each division. We are seeking a candidate that has a strong interest in awards and passion for TV. The ideal person will be self-motivated, organized, creative, flexible and able to juggle multiple responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage award project timelines, update key documents & supply industry research
- Keep awards screener site current with content and creative, and manage guild group codes
- Distributing and tracking assets (clips, credits, crew sheets, photos, etc) for awards submissions
- Collaborate on company-wide nomination & win emails, weekly newsletter and other communications
- Provide on-site support at events and awards ceremonies, including (but not limited to) ordering DCPs, creating holding graphics, managing check-in and tracking/greeting talent, reps, press and moderators
- Travel support for FYC events, press appearances and awards ceremonies
- Scheduling team meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Creating and processing invoices and POs and managing budgets
- Onboarding vendors as needed
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of publicity or marketing related professional experience in a studio, network, agency, brand, or similar organization
- Interest and working knowledge of the entertainment industry
- Available to work nights and weekends as needed
- A clear and concise communication style
- Meticulous organizational skills
- A proactive and positive approach that embodies our company values
- Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides
- Proficient in preparing professional presentations and decks, ensuring clarity, visual impact, and alignment with executive needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with Airtable

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $52,000 to $71,300 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
