Vice President of Sales

Position Summary:
The Vice President of Sales will be a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving sustained, profitable revenue growth and expanding The Company’s market presence. This executive will own the end-to-end sales function, leading a high-caliber team and partnering closely with marketing, product, and executive leadership to design and execute scalable go-to-market strategies. The successful candidate will demonstrate an exceptional ability to inspire and develop talent, optimize sales processes, and deliver consistent results in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives and market opportunities.
· Recruit, mentor, and retain a top-performing sales team capable of driving significant expansion within the SMB segment.
· Collaborate with marketing leadership to enhance lead generation initiatives, including digital marketing, trade shows, and business development efforts.
· Establish rigorous sales performance metrics, forecasting processes, and accountability frameworks to ensure team success.
· Foster strong relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and internal stakeholders to advance business goals and brand positioning.
· Provide market insights and feedback to influence product development and competitive positioning.
· Serve as an external ambassador for Accounting Seed, articulating the company’s value proposition to prospective clients and industry audiences.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5 years senior leadership experience in SaaS sales with a demonstrated track record of scaling sales organizations and exceeding revenue targets within the SMB market.
· Proven expertise in building and managing lead generation functions, including BDR teams and multi-channel marketing integration.
· Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into actionable sales plans and measurable outcomes.
· Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to cross-functional partnership.
· Data-driven decision-maker skilled in leveraging KPIs and sales analytics to drive continuous improvement and pipeline velocity.
· Hands-on executive capable of balancing high-level strategy with active involvement in sales execution and talent development.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
