• Design integrations and process flows across Procurement and Accounts Payable, including three-way match scenarios and inventory receipts to supplier invoices
• Define costing and valuation approaches and align accounting, journals, and financial statements with inventory movements
• Plan and execute testing cycles, cutover, and data conversion for items, on-hand balances, and historical transactions
• Build operational and executive reporting using Workday reports and dashboards; partner on composite reports and, where appropriate, Prism
• Advise on security, approvals, and controls for Inventory and related Financials processes
• Run client workshops, lead UAT, and deliver train-the-trainer and end-user enablement
• Coordinate with Project Managers, technical teams, and client stakeholders to manage risks, scope, and timeline
• Contribute reusable assets, playbooks, and estimates; support pre-sales as needed with approach, scoping, and SOW inputs
What You Will Bring
• Four or more years of Workday Financials experience with deep hands-on Inventory expertise
• End-to-end implementation leadership or ownership of the Inventory workstream, from design to stabilization
• Strong understanding of upstream and downstream processes across Procurement, AP, Accounting, and Reporting
• Experience with data conversion and testing strategy for item master and on-hand balances
• Working knowledge of Workday integrations and data pipelines such as EIB and Core Connectors; Prism experience is a plus
• Clear communication skills and the ability to simplify complex topics for finance and operations stakeholders
• Consulting toolkit including issue and risk management, facilitation, and executive readouts
• Workday Financials certification preferred; sector experience in healthcare, higher education, or public sector is a plus
How We Work
• Location flexible within the United States with client travel as needed
• You will collaborate closely with The Groove's Financials and Adaptive teams and help grow our Inventory offering

• Real impact on client outcomes and on how we build our practice
• A supportive team that values curiosity, kindness, and craftsmanship
• Room to lead, learn, and create assets that raise the bar for everyone
