Position Title: Sales Analyst
Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 Base Salary+ Sign on Bonus+ Annual Performance Bonus.
Position Summary
The Sales Analyst’s primary role is to prepare sales reports using data from internal and external sources and provide analysis as needed; make recommendations to the sales teams that can further the business' sales potential; evaluate the sales team’s performance; review past sales data to determine trends; and assist with presentation development.
Five Primary Responsibilities
· Data Analysis & Reporting--Gather, cleanse, and analyze internal and external sales data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for growth. Create detailed reports on sales performance for various stakeholders.
- Performance Monitoring--Track and evaluate sales performance metrics and KPIs to ensure alignment with business goals.
· Pricing--Help in updating and maintaining pricing information in D365 and SharePoint making sure all information is accurate.
· Sales Budget--Assist with preparing and finalizing Sales Budget files and track the sales team’s performance against it.
· Syndicated Data-Assist in providing syndicated data to the sales team. This data tracks sales volume and value, market share, pricing, promotions, distribution, and consumer purchase behavior to provide market insights for brands.
Key Activities
· Assist in development of the LE and the LRP (latest estimate). Flowing the number down to the SKU, Region, and total levels.
· Provide monthly business review files and voids report
· Provide sales data updates for monthly board meetings.
· Analyze, research, and provide sales data as needed. Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis for customer sales reports versus budget/forecasts.
· Run and download syndicated Standard Item Rank Reports and weekly Costco Report
· Actively check to make sure all pricing is accurate and all information on price lists is correct.
Performance Metrics
· Provide all established periodic sales reports in a timely and consistent fashion making sure accuracy is prioritized.

· Redistributors (DOT Foods, Schreiber, etc.)
Skills Required
· Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
· Strong verbal, written, interpersonal skills.
· Ability to quickly learn MS D365 system.
· Strong analytical skills, detail oriented, organized in approach and in document maintenance
· Ability to work in a team environment
· AI experience preferred but not required.
Necessary Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required
· Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience preferred, but not required
· Experience with D365 preferred but not required.
· Experience with sales forecasting.
WORK ENVIROMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The work environment for this role is typically an office setting, with most tasks performed at a desk using a computer. Daily responsibilities involve extended periods of sitting, frequent use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse for data entry, analysis, and report generation.
