Position Overview: Client Success Manager
As a Client Success Manager (CSM), you’ll be the bridge between our clients and our internal team—equally strategic and operational. You’ll guide clients to adopt and maximize our system while ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. You’ll coach, drive strategy, troubleshoot, and optimize client outcomes while maintaining a high standard of execution across every touchpoint.
This role is a fit for someone who is both a marketer at heart and an operator by nature—you can help a client refine a funnel or script, then turn around and coordinate the creative team to deliver flawlessly. You should be able to spot a weak hook in a TikTok reel, coach a client through their messaging, and keep the team on task.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationships & Strategy
- Cultivate and nurture long-term client partnerships.
- Develop and refine client social media and content strategies that drive authority and sales (not just views).
- Coach clients on messaging, branding, and positioning so their content aligns with their business goals.
- Lead onboarding and ongoing coaching calls, ensuring clients clearly understand the system and strategy.
- Answer client questions on funnels, offers, performance, and social platforms with confidence and clarity.
- Proactively identify opportunities for optimization in client strategy (content gaps, new formats, messaging pivots).
Content Oversight & Quality
- Review and audit client assets (scripts, raw video, edits, published posts) to ensure alignment with strategy.
- Spot strong vs. weak short-form content; provide clear direction on hooks, storytelling, and edits.
- Audit content performance data across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn) and translate into actionable strategy adjustments.
- Provide basic production equipment support (camera, lighting, audio) and troubleshoot as needed.
- Work closely with creative leads to ensure messaging aligns with the brand voice and goals
- Collaborate with editors to ensure polished, high-quality output
Operations & Communication
- Maintain timely client communication channels (Slack, Zoom, email) with proactive, professional responses.
- Triage incoming client needs to the appropriate teams (creative, admin, leadership).
- Keep ClickUp/Airtable updated with client deliverables, performance notes, and action items.
- Partner with internal leadership (COO, CEO, Sales, Creative) to ensure seamless client experience.
- Collect testimonials, success stories, and renewal opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Experience running a business or working at a high level within an online info/service-based business or other closely related environments (ideally an ex-entrepreneur)
- Proven marketing experience with measurable results
- Working knowledge of social media for sales, funnel creation, offer creation, video sales letters/webinars, copywriting, branding, storytelling, paid ads, and marketing ecosystems
- Sales and/or leadership experience (ideally high-ticket $5k+)
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn technical setups for camera and filming processes
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and high emotional intelligence
- High organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Integrity and follow-through on commitments
- Self-motivated with a constant drive for excellence and improvement
