- Contract Duration: 6 months
- Worksite Location: Eagan, MN | Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
- Compensation: $30-34/hr
What you'll do as the Financial Analyst:
- Review and reconcile assigned distributor accounts across multiple divisions, leveraging SAP, BEx Reporting, and Excel to analyze complex billback discrepancies.
- Identify, document, and resolve deductions and discrepancies within defined service level standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external distributor partners to resolve issues efficiently and reduce outstanding discrepancies.
- Process credit memos, general ledger adjustments, and maintain clear documentation of all actions, status updates, and reasons for discrepancies.
- Prioritize and manage multiple accounts and tasks to meet deadlines, while assisting on moderate to complex special projects as needed.
- Escalate and address high-risk scenarios in partnership with management to minimize financial risk.
- Support internal quarterly reviews and ongoing process improvements by contributing insights and participating in system enhancements.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, distributors, and field associates to keep all parties informed of status and resolutions.
What you'll bring to the Financial Analyst role:
- Post-secondary degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, customer service, or a related field, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Intermediate Excel skills (including pivot tables) and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; SAP experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented approach, customer service focus, and sound judgment in resolving financial discrepancies.
