Job Description:
We are seeking a Business Analyst III to support the Commercial Planning and Forecasting team within the Luxe Division. This role reports to the Director of Commercial Planning and serves as a key liaison between Sales, Finance, and Analytics teams to drive business insights, performance tracking, and forecasting accuracy.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proficient in Excel — able to synthesize large datasets into actionable insights and clear reports for leadership.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Weekly Order Write meetings, collaborating with the Commerce team to compile and consolidate monthly and quarterly Gross-to-Net projections.
- Report Net Sales forecasts and variance analyses to leadership, identifying key risks and opportunities.
- Actualize Retail and Net Sales by account at month-end, ensuring data integrity with Business Analytics and Finance teams.
- Track business performance and update year-to-go (YTG) projections, aligning forecasts with current trends and commercial priorities.
- Present updated Retail and Net Sales forecasts at monthly demand and consensus reviews.
- Support the Director in preparing Luxe Division trend and budget deliverables.
- Build and enhance complex planning models and forecasting modules for Trend, LE, and Budget processes.
Must Haves (Required Skills & Qualifications):
- Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, modeling).
- Analytical ability to assess granular data and extract insights.
- C ommunication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with multiple business units.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Haves (Preferred Skills):
- Experience in the Beauty or Consumer Goods industry.
- Familiarity with Retail math (customer margin, stock in trade, weeks of supply).
- Prior experience in planning and forecasting.
- Working knowledge of Power BI or other data visualization tools.
