We are a leading manufacturer of high-quality steel pail containers serving clients across industries such as chemicals, coatings, food, and industrial packaging. As we expand, we’re looking for a motivated Sales Representative to join our team and help build long-term client partnerships.
Overview
The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and closing deals that support the growth of our steel pail container business. This role involves a mix of remote communication (calls, email, virtual meetings) and in-person client visits to negotiate, broker, and secure contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively reach out to new prospects through calls, emails, networking, and in-person visits to introduce our steel pail products and services.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers by providing attentive service, regular check-ins, and tailored solutions to their needs.
- Schedule and conduct meetings—both virtual and on-site—to present offerings, discuss requirements, and strengthen client partnerships.
- Follow up consistently with leads and current accounts to identify opportunities for repeat or expanded business.
- Negotiate pricing and terms directly with customers, ensuring win–win agreements that support both client needs and company goals.
- Keep accurate records of outreach, client communications, and sales activities to maintain a healthy and growing pipeline.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and on-time delivery for customers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales (manufacturing, packaging, or industrial sales experience preferred).
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, both in-person and remotely.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel regionally for client visits and deal negotiations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (required).
