Role Description
This is a part-time to full-time, on-site role for a Customer Service & Print Production Associate located in Shorewood, IL. The associate will be responsible for providing customer support, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing phone etiquette. Additionally, the role involves handling print production tasks, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring fast, reliable turnaround times. The associate will assist customers with their printing needs, advise on design choices, and process orders efficiently.
Job Summary
As a Customer Service & Print Production Associate, your primary focus will be to support our print production process, while also assisting with front-of-house customer service tasks. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and takes pride in helping customers bring their ideas to life through quality print and business services.
Key Responsibilities
Print Production:
- Operate and maintain digital printing and finishing equipment (copiers, cutters, laminators, binding, etc.)
- Set up print jobs according to customer specifications (paper type, quantity, color settings, file format, etc.)
- Perform quality checks to ensure professional results
- Finish print jobs through cutting, binding, laminating, packaging, etc.
- Monitor and manage job workflow and materials inventory
Customer Service & Sales:
- Greet customers with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Answer questions about printing, shipping, and mailbox services
- Ring up sales and handle transactions using our POS system
- Recommend additional products and services to meet customer needs
- Maintain a clean and welcoming store environment
Mail & Shipping Support:
- Sort and organize incoming mail and packages
- Assist customers with shipping, packaging, and tracking
- Process USPS, UPS, and FedEx shipments accurately
- Manage mailbox services and notify customers of mail arrivals
Administrative & Communication:
- Answer phones and respond to emails in a timely, professional manner
- Keep customer records and job notes organized
- Communicate job statuses and delays as needed

Qualifications
- Customer Support, Customer Service, and Customer Satisfaction skills
- Phone Etiquette and Customer Experience skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic proficiency in graphic design software is a plus
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Previous experience in a print shop or similar environment is advantageous
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods

Pay: $19.00 - $19.25 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
