Events Coordinator
Overview: The Events Coordinator will support the strategic planning and flawless execution of in-store and off-site retail events across the Americas, including key commercial moments, product launches, and appearances by Mr. Louboutin. Key responsibilities include vendor and venue research, coordination with external partners, and ensuring all elements align with brand guidelines and budget. Post-event, The Events Associate will compile performance metrics and feedback to evaluate success and inform future planning. This role will report directly to the Sr. Events Director.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute in-store and off-site retail events pertaining to key commercial moments, product launches, and public appearance of Mr. Louboutin spanning across North America
- Support PR events including press day and brand image events
- Research new vendors and venues to build relationships with for future opportunities
- Liaise with vendors to ensure they are meeting brand directions that are in line with our event strategy, guidelines, and budget
- Coordinate with all outside vendors (caterers, florists, event host) to ensure everything is confirmed and delivered at the correct time and place
- Build pre-event reports that are shared with retail teams to ensure proper execution of event
- Brief in creative assets required from the global visual identity team for events; including evites, custom packaging, DJ booth wrap, etc.
- Build production schedules and timelines for retail teams to reference logistics of product arrival, invitation distribution, display deliveries, arrival of catering, floral deliveries, and more
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align on plans and execution (Retail, CRM, Visual Merchandising, Finance, etc.)
- Create post-event reports to ensure attendance goals, sales, goals, and KPI’s are met; along with compiling feedback pertaining to catering and activation executions
- Share monthly reports with Events Manager and Director to be presented to executive team members
- Support the US team with internal company events
- Manage and maintain organization of event supply inventory, including overseeing supply send-outs and tracking returns
- Submit event costs/invoices to Events Manager for budget approvals, tracking all approved expenses for US retail events
- Submit invoices from vendors to internal accounting team to process in a timely manner
- Train and manage the intern’s daily tasks to ensure they are getting a thorough understanding of the Events department
- Manage schedules for travel related to events and designer PAs for team including flights, cars, hotels, restaurant, reservations.
Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Passion for Christian Louboutin and a true ambassador for the brand with strong sense of responsibility
- Ideal candidate has events experience in agency, medium sized multinational company or luxury business
- Additional language fluency is a plus
- Adheres to company policy and confidentiality
- Proactively contributes to creating a team atmosphere that is professional, flexible and enjoyable
