We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Order Entry Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for entering and processing customer orders efficiently and accurately remotely, ensuring that all data is captured correctly in our order management system. You will serve as a vital link between our customers, sales team, and warehouse operations, contributing to a smooth order fulfillment process.
Location: United States (Remote)
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter customer orders into the order management system, ensuring all pertinent information is captured.
- Verify order details, including product specifications, quantities, pricing, and customer information.
- Communicate with sales representatives and customers to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to orders.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Generate and maintain reports on order status, processing times, and inventory levels.
- Assist in maintaining an organized filing system for order documentation and related correspondence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve order processing workflows and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries related to order status, delivery timelines, and product availability.
- Stay updated on product offerings, promotions, and company policies to effectively assist customers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in order entry, data entry, or a similar administrative role.
- Proficient in using order management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management and supply chain processes is a plus.
