Responsibilities

Product Design: Design, analyze, and optimize commercial HVAC systems and components to enhance assembly, operation, and performance.
Product Support: Provide technical assistance to Production, Sales, Applications, and Field Support teams throughout all stages of the product lifecycle.
Engineering Solutions: Lead and contribute to critical engineering projects involving product testing, troubleshooting, and design modifications.
Custom Engineering (Engineer-to-Order): Evaluate customer-specific requirements and develop tailored engineering solutions.
Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers and vendors to design and qualify new or alternative components.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to products, systems, and processes that enhance performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Regulatory and Specification Compliance: Review and analyze test data to ensure products meet technical, functional, and regulatory standards.
Documentation: Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Engineering teams to develop and maintain accurate technical and sales documentation.
Data Accuracy: Deliver clear, concise, and accurate information to all internal and external stakeholders.
Professional Development: Stay up to date with relevant industry codes and standards, including ASHRAE, AHRI, and ANSI.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Software Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Technical Expertise: Strong technical aptitude with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Mechanical Aptitude: Hands-on understanding of mechanical systems and components.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Organization: Strong time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities effectively.
