We are partnering with a strategy consulting firm that works closely with leading investors and major corporates on high-stakes strategic and commercial decisions. The firm combines sharp analytical rigor with a fast, entrepreneurial way of working, delivering the pace expected by deal teams and the depth required by senior corporate stakeholders.
The team supports commercial due diligence, market assessments, go-to-market design, and broader growth and investment strategy work. We are seeking Consultants to join the U.S. team. This role suits individuals who enjoy rapid problem-solving cycles, want visibility into how investment and strategic decisions are made, and thrive in environments where precision, clarity, and commercial judgment are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead analytical workstreams across commercial due diligence, market sizing, competitive assessments, and go-to-market strategy.
- Build robust quantitative models to evaluate market attractiveness, growth potential, customer behaviour, and financial implications of strategic options.
- Conduct investor-grade research through data analysis and expert interviews to understand demand drivers and competitive dynamics.
- Synthesise findings into sharp, commercially grounded recommendations that guide investment and corporate strategy decisions.
- Prepare high-impact client materials and contribute to discussions with deal teams and senior executives.
- Support internal firm initiatives including recruiting, mentoring junior colleagues, and thought leadership.
Candidate Profile
- Strong analytical and commercial instincts, with experience developing Excel-based financial or operational models.
- Ability to translate ambiguous strategic or investment questions into clear, structured analytical approaches.
- Excellent communication and narrative-building skills, able to convey complex ideas concisely.
- Collaborative mindset with the confidence to guide junior team members when required.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work under tight timelines.
- Prior experience in consulting, private equity–related work, or commercial analysis is advantageous.
