Our client is a technology focused private equity firm based in the Bay Area. They are looking to add a Business Development/Sourcing analyst to their team.
Responsibilities:
• Source, identify, and analyze new investment opportunities including interfacing directly with technology company founders and CEOs
• Travel to industry/banker conferences
• Develop investment theses and deep dive on specific technology areas
• Perform research of new markets, technologies, competitive landscape, and share findings to the team
• Assist and support portfolio companies with operational and M&A initiatives
• There is an opportunity for high performers to take on more responsibilities outside of sourcing (execution work) and to be promoted directly to an Associate.
Requirements:
• Experience in PE/VC, investment banking, management consulting, or technology
• Superior work ethic, a desire to learn the PE business, and uncompromising attention to detail
• Excellent execution and time management skills
• Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills
• Positive attitude, independent, and self-starting
• Passion for technology
• 0-2 years of experience in related fields
