AREA VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES - HOME HEALTH
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the development and implementation of a sales plan for all components of the Visiting Nurse Health System/Home Health (HH) program. Manages the Home Health Business Development team, comprising account executives associated with preferred partners, as assigned, and oversees daily sales operations. Assures that Home Health services are appropriately represented in all sales and marketing initiatives. Collaborates with Business Development leadership on opportunities throughout the VNHS HH service area. Sales activities will be prioritized in all sectors of healthcare that have or potentially require home health, including, but not limited to, hospitals, nursing homes, long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, physician offices, and community organizations. The AVP of Business will be responsible for and have direct oversight of driving the entire sales team’s performance, meeting and exceeding monthly sales quotas, increasing market share within HH service territories, and overseeing meaningful sales team activity in CRM. The AVP of Business Development will also maintain a book of business and be responsible for growing assigned accounts as directed by the Chief Innovative Officer.
Provides significant leadership with other Visiting Nurse team members, specifically a team of account executives, to meet and exceed sales goals. May be called upon to assist in the coordination of referrals on occasion. Operational activities, such as obtaining signed orders to support revenue recognition, may also be required.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or health administration preferred.
Previous Experience:
- Minimum three years of sales management in home health and/or hospice preferred
- Minimum five years of sales experience required.
- Must be able to demonstrate a history of successful growth and attainment of goals.
- Demonstrated strategic planning, growth, and management of health care territories is required.
- Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of staff, from C-suite to frontline delivery, is required.
Certification: Valid GA driver’s license required, and vehicle insurance.
Knowledge/Training:
- Knowledge of the Atlanta health care market, and particularly the home health of the Atlanta health care market.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer entities.
- Knowledge of principles, practices, and regulatory requirements of marketing home health.

Compensation: $90,200-$145,000
