Role Overview
Support the design and development of product based on creative direction, product brief and line plan strategy. Work closely with Apparel Design team to create consistent story-telling across leagues and brands. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Graphic Design, Product Development, Sourcing and Merchandising teams.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Assist designers with the creation of design concepts including creating and maintaining CAD library, coloring-up and updating CADs.
- Will be an integral partner with cross-functional teams to create a smooth transition between initial concepts and final production.
- Create and maintain CAD and digital swatch and trim libraries.
- Work closely with design team to ensure design intent is carried through to final product.
- Research relevant market trends with a point of view on commercial viability of styles.
- Prepare materials for design reviews, including fabric boards, trend samples, color swatches and trims.
- Tracking product development life cycle and manage WIPs.
What You Bring To The Team
- Bachelor’s Degree in Apparel Design, Merchandising, or related administrative experience in the creative aspect. 2 years professional experience in Apparel Design is acceptable without a degree. Portfolio of previous work required.
- Intermediate skill set and knowledge of apparel design, fabrics, trims, silhouette styling and construction techniques.
- Intermediate knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign along with an awareness of the latest creative software programs, techniques, and applications.
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel), Airtable, and project management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication both internally and externally.
- Must be results focused and highly detail oriented.
- Ability to create and execute in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Demonstrate a professional and positive attitude with internal and external clients; with an openness to new ideas and differing opinions.
- Must have strong organization skills or order to troubleshoot and manage multiple projects.
- Prefer familiarity with U.S. Sports and Licensed properties with a passion for great product and design.

The salary for this position is between $53,000 per year, in compliance with New York salary transparency requirements. This range reflects the expected compensation based on qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
