SALARY: $230,000-$250,000/year base, plus variable compensation (uncapped, $100,000+ potential)

Job Summary:
Cesco Solutions (Cesco), a Tidal Vision company, is at a pivotal stage in transforming its business model from price-based chemical sales to a value-based approach that integrates innovative chemistries, automated equipment, and operations & maintenance-a "three-legged stool" strategy. The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) is a key executive leader responsible for overseeing and accelerating Cesco's commercial growth. Cesco's current target market focuses on high-organics wastewater and sanitation, primarily within the food processing sector.
The CCO leads all sales functions, managing the sales team, building strong relationships with clients (existing and new), distributors, and strategic partners, and ensuring alignment across the commercial organization. This technical sales role is accountable for developing innovative, value-based offerings in a dynamic environment and works closely with both the CEO and COO.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide strategic leadership to a global team of sales leaders, fostering a high-performance culture focused on growth, accountability, and talent development.
- Build and sustain strong, long-term business with key accounts, including large manufacturing operations, and corporate relationships.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, account plans, and growth initiatives aligned with corporate objectives and market dynamics.
- Collaborate with regional sales leaders to visit major accounts and nurture multi-level relationships with key decision-makers.
- Partner with strategic customers to understand their evolving challenges, particularly in high organics wastewater applications-and co-create solutions that deliver measurable value.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, R&D, and Operations to ensure customer expectations are met with timely, innovative, and reliable solutions.
- Deliver consistent reporting on sales performance, forecasts, pipeline activity, and customer feedback through effective use of CRM tools and data analytics.
- Represent Cesco Solutions and provide leadership at industry events, trade shows, and grower meetings, promoting our mission, vision, and values to key stakeholders.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies to maintain a forward-looking sales strategy.
- Actively contribute to product development discussions by channeling customer insights to the R&D team, ensuring innovation aligns with market needs.
Qualifications:
- Track record of successful management of growing value-added revenue for an innovative science-based company.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in industrial sales, including global or national-level oversight.
- Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams and managing complex sales organizations.
- Deep understanding of key markets, food processing, wastewater, and other manufacturing environments.
- Proven track record of developing executive-level relationships with key accounts and delivering revenue growth.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with excellent forecasting and pipeline management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and data-driven sales tools.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership capabilities.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
