Description
Shopbop is seeking a detail-oriented individual with a natural eye for style and a strong understanding of trends, designers, and brands to join our team. The Stylist Assistant will manage product flow in and out of the styling closet and support all photoshoot-related needs, both in-office and on set. This role works with the editorial styling team.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stylists to ensure the right pieces are pulled for shoots and the styling closet is organized and merchandised for style-outs, fittings, and photo shoots.
- Coordinate sample requests from brands for photoshoots
- Prep wardrobe and accessories for shoots.
- Assist on set with steaming, dressing models, SKU tracking, packing, and other on-set needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory in Fashion GPS, ensuring all items are scanned and accounted for.
- Capture behind-the-scenes moments in the styling closet and on set for social and internal use.
- Repackage, inspect, and track all product as it leaves the studio.
- Ensure garments are returned on time and with proper documentation.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in fashion, styling, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with fashion brands and current trends
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Fashion GPS or similar sample-tracking systems
- Experience supporting photo shoots or on-set production environments

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $101,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
