POSITION SUMMARY
At Golden Goose, every product carries a story - from the hands that create it to the moment it reaches our clients. The Retail Supply & Operations Manager ensures that journey happens seamlessly. This role leads the end-to-end product and information flow across the U.S. - from inbound shipments to store floors - transforming inventory into experience and opportunity. You’ll balance logistics precision with creative agility, turning movement into meaning while protecting service, margin, and cash flow.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Inbound & Logistics Excellence
- Coordinate with HQ, vendors, and 3PL partners to guarantee inbound visibility, ASN accuracy, and smooth customs clearance.
- Manage all inbound shipments, proactively resolving delays and exceptions to ensure on-time delivery to DCs and stores.
- Balance freight priorities against seasonal demand to meet business timelines.
Outbound Flow & Distribution
- Execute allocation and replenishment plans to maintain availability across stores and e-commerce.
- Partner with retail and merchandising teams to prioritize deliveries based on sales potential and product urgency.
- Monitor carrier and warehouse performance, ensuring all SLAs and OTIF targets are achieved.
Reverse Logistics & Stock Optimization
- In collaboration with the Merchandising team, support inter-store transfers, product recalls, and stock equalization initiatives to maintain optimization efficiency.
- Support the Planning team in identify slow-moving or aging stock and activate corrective reallocation plans.
- Support Retail and Merchandising team to use product scarcity strategically — driving sell-out, not just distribution.
Chargeback Management
- Oversee all chargeback processes, ensuring timely resolution and accuracy of documentation.
- Partner with Finance and Accounts Receivable to track disputes, root causes, and recovery opportunities.
- Implement preventative measures to reduce future chargeback exposure.
S&OE Cadence & Operational Performance
- Lead the weekly S&OE (Sales & Operations Execution) review — translating demand, inventory, and logistics data into actionable insights.
- Monitor KPIs including sell-through, availability, OTIF, and cost-to-serve.
- Partner with Finance and Planning to align operational output with working capital targets.
Cross-Functional Partnership & Governance
- Serve as the operational bridge between Supply Chain HQ, Retail Merchandising, Retail Operations, and Finance.
- Ensure data accuracy across ERP/WMS systems (Stealth, Compass, Tesi Square TMS).
- Implement HQ standards while tailoring solutions to local market needs.
- Chargeback resolution rate
- Stakeholder alignment across HQ, Retail, and Finance
- Coordinate with Retail and Wholesale teams to manage the logistics and movement of all props, furniture, and materials required for store setups, pop-ups, and special events.
Profile Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or retail operations.
- Proven ability to connect operational execution to commercial goals.
- Strong analytical mindset and high attention to detail, with a proactive, hands-on approach.
- Fluent in English; Italian a plus.
- Advanced Excel and BI skills; ERP/WMS system experience preferred.
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $110,000 - $120,000. Ranges are based on various factors such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
