Role Description
Pecan Nation is growing fast—and we’re looking for a highly organized Sales Operations Coordinator to join our team and support our national retail, e-commerce, and distributor network. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth order flow, accurate sales order entry, on-time deliveries, and seamless customer service across multiple platforms. What You’ll Do:
1) Purchase Order Management
Receive, review, and acknowledge POs from multiple EDI platforms, including:
· Edict Systems
· Email-based orders
· SPS Commerce
· Retail Link
Set up and maintain system access and PO email channels for all incoming order sources.
2) Sales Order Entry
· Enter customer details, PO numbers, line-item pricing, and freight method.
· Assign accurate ship dates based on customer due dates, production timing, freight carrier constraints, and delivery appointments.
· Balance kitchen lead-time requirements with retailer expectations and deduction risk.
3) Freight Setup & Documentation
· Schedule freight with carriers.
· Create BOLs, pallet signs, and required shipment documentation through carrier portals or internal systems.
· Upload and share shipping documents for execution.
4) Manage Additional Order Types
· Sample orders
· Customer service/replacement orders
· E-commerce replenishment
What You Need to Succeed
· Strong attention to detail
· Comfort managing multiple systems, portals, and documents
· Ability to plan around transit times, appointments, lead times, and retailer expectations
· Excellent time-management and organization
· Experience with EDI platforms and/or freight logistics is a major plus
· Familiarity with ERP systems preferred

Salary Range
$55K - $65K
