Job Overview
The Senior, Site Analytics Analyst leads the digital financial planning and analysis efforts for the Macy’s site. This role requires a strong financial acumen and analytical skills to drive financial planning initiatives that support the overall business objectives. They collaborate with cross-functional departments, including Merchandising, Marketing, Product Management & Product Analytics, and Finance. By leveraging financial insights, they play a crucial role in optimizing digital strategies and enhancing site performance. What You Will Do
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Lead the development and execution of top-side financial plans for the entire site and by family of business, focusing on key performance indicators like conversion rates, units-per-transaction, and funnel metrics.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends and variances, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with the Marketing, Merchandising, and Product Management teams to align financial plans with traffic plans, pricing strategies, and site enhancements.
- Conduct monthly forecasting, ensuring timely updates of financial projections based on current business trends and performance metrics to drive business results and enhance profitability.
- Provide detailed and comprehensive financial forecasts, facilitating informed decision-making processes.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Generate and analyze financial reports on conversion, units-per-transaction, and other key golden equation metrics.
- Utilize advanced financial planning tools and software to support data-driven decision-making.
- Present financial analysis and insights to senior management and cross-functional teams.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with Merchandising, Marketing, Product Management & Product Analytics, and Finance teams to align financial plans with promotional events, tactics investments, site enhancements, and other key initiatives.
- Communicate financial performance and insights effectively to stakeholders across the organization.
- Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance financial planning and analysis processes.
- Implement best practices and new technologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and financial performance.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for financial planning operations.

Strategic Thinking: Ability to leverage financial insights to optimize digital strategies and enhance site performance.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address financial performance issues and improve profitability.
Who You Are
- Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply. Prior experience in investment banking or consulting required.
- Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.
