EBG Advisors is seeking a Consulting Associate to support project coordination and analysis for EBG Advisors’ clients. This position plays a key role in supporting client engagements by organizing activities, tracking progress, and developing clear and compelling deliverables for health system and health plans undergoing new business launches, product development or business transformation work.
Responsibilities
- Support project management activities, including developing and maintaining detailed project plans, timelines and documentation of next steps.
- Track project risks, issues, and action items
- Monitor deliverables across multiple workstreams and ensure on-time completion
- Create PowerPoint decks that summarize project insights, recommendations and progress updates
- Perform market research to understand competitor trends and customer needs
- Contribute to the development of strategic recommendations and solutions
- Help identify opportunities for improvement in ongoing initiatives
- Help maintain effective client relationships and support the contracting and engagement process when needed
- Prepare clear, concise materials to support client decision-making
- Gather, analyze, and synthesize business intelligence to derive insights, findings and recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1–2+ years’ experience in project coordination, business analysis, consulting support, or related areas
- Understanding of business processes, project management and strategic planning
- Experience supporting business process or project management activities
- Proficiency with common desktop software applications (e.g., MS Project, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently with guidance
- Experience in the health insurance or healthcare field (a plus)
Certifications (preferred)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or working toward certification
- Six Sigma certification or coursework
