Position Summary
Ensure compliance of all Responsible Care® Management System codes and initiatives. Responsible for overseeing and managing field service teams, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining customer satisfaction. This role involves planning, scheduling, and executing service activities, as well as managing personnel, budgets, and performance.
This salary range posted includes the base compensation and bonus structure estimates.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure all work is performed safely by adhering to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies and procedures, and by proactively identifying and addressing potentially unsafe conditions or practices.
- Collaborate with the Sr. Field Services Manager and Sales Team to manage environmental field service projects and bids from initiation through completion.
- Manage day-to-day activities of Baltimore Field Services branch to ensure achievement of customer satisfaction while meeting quality, safety, regulatory and budgetary goals.
- Train, coach and counsel team members to achieve performance objectives. Prepare regular performance appraisals and goal-setting with subordinate staff according to company guidelines.
- Mentor and provide hands-on, in-field training for Field Service team members to support employee development and internal advancement within the department.
- Prepare proposals and cost estimates as needed for Field Services projects.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including budgets, schedules, cost analyses, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate and manage project scheduling by submitting schedule requests and reviewing them with field supervisors, technicians, and drivers prior to project launch.
- Oversee procurement and coordination of rental equipment, safety gear, monitoring devices, and project materials.
- Serve as the primary on-site liaison with customer contacts throughout the duration of each project, ensuring consistent communication and satisfaction.
- Maintain communication with subcontracted vendors on-site to ensure project goals are met and customer expectations are fulfilled.
- Coordinate with Eldredge’s Operations Team to schedule customer pickups in alignment with project needs.
- Collaborate with Eldredge’s Technical Services Team to develop waste profiles and source the most appropriate recycling or disposal options for customer waste streams.
- Accompany Sales Personnel on job site visits to assist in developing accurate and safe scopes of work and project quotes.
- Obtain pricing for subcontracted labor, services, equipment, and materials necessary for job bidding.
- Manage scheduling and coordination of all contracted field service work, including project-based and emergency response jobs.
- Routine work includes, but is not limited to, tank cleaning, sump and trap cleaning, lab packing, and remediation.
- Project work includes pipeline services and environmental construction/remediation projects.
- Assemble and deploy effective teams of employees, subcontractors, and equipment to ensure timely, professional completion of projects and emergency responses.
- Communicate progress updates and project status to Sales Team and customers, ensuring transparency and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee regulatory interactions with environmental agencies as required; responsibilities vary based on project and industry.
- Ensure effective cross-departmental communication to complete projects efficiently. Collaborate with departments such as Plant, Transportation, Operations, Sales, and Safety.
- Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time for billing, regulatory reporting, and payroll processing.
- Maintain safe, clean, and efficient work environments by enforcing strict housekeeping standards at all company and customer locations.
- Leverage industry expertise and professional network to help identify and develop new business opportunities, contributing to the growth and profitability of the Baltimore Field Services branch.
- Partner with the Sales Department to identify and develop new and existing accounts; Sales handles quoting and contracting with potential customers.
- Operate a variety of equipment in accordance with safety and operational standards, including but not limited to company vehicles, forklifts, Hi-Vacs, and pickup trucks.
- Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of industrial services experience with bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience preferred. While a specific degree is not mandated, candidates with backgrounds in parallel industries such as construction, waste disposal, environmental services, consulting, or transportation are encouraged to apply.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, physical, MVR, and criminal background check.
- Must be able to obtain TWIC Card.
- High School Diploma or GED (General Educational Development) is the minimum requirement.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
