Product Marketing Assistant
USAI Lighting LLC, is a recognized leader in the lighting industry, offering the widest selection of specification grade down lights with an emphasis on quality, innovation and performance. We are an 80 year old privately held company located in the heart of the picturesque Hudson Valley, in New Windsor, New York (90 minutes North of New York City).
Job Summary:
As an integral member of USAI Lighting’s Product Management team, the Product Marketing Assistant is responsible for maintaining technical product specification documentation for our extensive line of architectural lighting products. A keen attention to detail, dedication to accuracy, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment is critical for this role. This position is based in our headquarters in New Windsor, NY and reports to the Director of Product Management.
Position Responsibilities Include:
· Create and maintain published product documentation, including comprehensive product specification sheets, user guides, installation guides, and other technical documents, using InDesign, PhotoShop, and other software products within the Adobe Creative Suite.
· Update existing documents: work with engineering and product management to track product changes, and regularly review and update related documentation to reflect product changes and improvements.
· Assist with facilitation of having product renderings made, with some image processing and editing required
· Assistance with creation of product informational content (both image-based and content-based) on the company website
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in a related field of study
· Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, including grammar, spelling, and proof reading
· Strong organizational and time management skills: you are a self-starter, thorough, and detail-oriented who can set priorities and organize workload for efficiency
· Proficient with all relevant core software tools (MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and AutoCAD)
· Experience with wordpress or other website programming languages is helpful but not required
· Experience with photography and image editing is a plus
· Previous experience in the architectural lighting industry is beneficial but not required

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
