Marketing Manager
Location: Remote (temporary) – local travel required
Reports To: CEO and Director of Operations
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to independently manage and execute marketing initiatives for our property management portfolio.
This role is remote until an office is established later this summer, but requires regular travel to properties and local locations to support on-site marketing needs, content creation, and coordination.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can take high-level direction, develop execution plans, manage multiple priorities, and drive marketing initiatives forward with minimal oversight. A strong emphasis will be placed on social media marketing, property visibility, campaign execution, and vendor coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy Execution
- Execute marketing strategies that support leasing and brand visibility across multiple properties
- Independently manage campaigns from planning through execution
- Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness and property exposure
Social Media & Content Marketing (Primary Focus)
- Own the social media strategy and execution across platforms
- Plan, create, schedule, and publish content consistently
- Capture on-site content (photos, videos, property features) as needed
- Monitor performance and adjust content strategy to improve engagement and reach
Vendor & Agency Oversight
- Work with and help oversee an external marketing company managing GRO campaigns
- Coordinate deliverables, timelines, and reporting with minimal supervision
- Ensure campaigns align with company goals and brand standards
Property & Digital Marketing
- Manage and maintain listings on ILS platforms (Zillow, MLS, etc.)
- Coordinate signage, digital assets, email campaigns, and promotional materials
- Ensure brand consistency across all properties and marketing channels
Reporting & Optimization
- Track lead sources, campaign performance, and engagement metrics
- Provide clear, concise updates and insights to leadership
- Proactively recommend improvements based on performance data
Qualifications
- 4–7 years of hands-on marketing experience
- Proven ability to manage projects independently with limited oversight
- Strong social media marketing and content strategy experience
- Comfortable managing vendors and external partners
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
- Experience in property management, real estate, or multi-location businesses preferred
Compensation
Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000, based on experience
Mileage Reimbursement:
- Mileage reimbursed for required travel to properties and work-related locations
Bonus Opportunity (Optional):
- Performance-based incentives tied to leasing performance, campaign success, or engagement metrics
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
