We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator for our facility in Wyoming, MI. If you have prior experience setting up and operating a Press Brake then you are asked to apply to this position. This is a full-time opportunity which allows you to work with experienced, proven operators and fabricators to advance your career and continue to develop your skillset.
***1st shift hours are from 5:00 AM to 2:30 PM Mondays - Thursdays and 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Fridays***
Primary responsibilities:
- Setting up, operating, and changing tooling on a Press Brake machine.
- Cutting, bending, and shaping various pieces of metal to meet customer specs.
- Adjusting components and setting dies.
- Performing quality checks on pieces.
- Grinding sharp edges and burrs.
- Maintaining equipment and a clean work area.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Press brake operation experience required.
- Experience with setups and changeovers on press brakes heavily preferred.
- Experience performing quality checks preferred.
- Blueprint reading experience preferred.
- Possess a willingness to learn new things and develop new skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
