Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Duties
- Design and develop civil engineering projects including roads, bridges, pipelines, and drainage systems.
- Conduct construction inspections to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
- Create detailed schematics and technical drawings using software such as AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- Utilize ArcGIS for mapping and spatial analysis to support project planning.
- Collaborate with project managers on project scheduling and resource allocation.
- Perform calculations using Mathcad for structural analysis and design validation.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to project progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Assist in the development of project proposals and cost estimates.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Use Bluebeam for document management and collaboration during the design process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in engineering software including AutoCAD, MicroStation, ArcGIS, Bluebeam, and Mathcad.
- Experience with construction inspection processes and pipeline projects is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data and schematics effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members, clients, and regulatory agencies.
- Familiarity with project scheduling tools and methodologies is a plus.
- A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
