Maui Divers Jewelry is seeking professional creative and 3D modeler to design for our award-winning line of Jewelry. This is an exciting, well-compensated position for an industrial/product designer who is looking to grow technically in the highly competitive national jewelry manufacturing industry. Candidates should be self-motivated, be able to follow brief directions, have a passion for jewelry, and possess the computer design skills to bring new designs from concept to completion.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Three years of experience modelling organic forms in Rhinoceros or equivalent CAD program
- The ability to rapidly turn concept sketches into closed accurate 3D models and prototype them
- The creativity to develop original product lines when necessary
- Attention to detail and an ability to work with a team of other designers
- Must be comfortable with peer evaluation in a collaborative environment
- Be able to self-manage projects and deadlines
- All applicants must provide samples of their work in addition to a current resume
OTHER QUALITIES:
- Adaptable in working with designs created by others and able to thoughtfully review, refine, and improve on them
- Experience with custom design is highly desirable.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITES: Special projects will be assigned as needed.
