Project Manager – EHR Cutover & Clinical Backload
Location: Remote (US) | Limited travel for go-live
Duration: 6 months
Pay: $60–$70/hr W2
Overview
We are seeking an Implementation Project Manager to support EHR cutover and clinical backload activities for a Regional Medical Center acquisition. This role partners closely with clinical, technical, and operational teams to ensure successful go-live execution.
This is a time-sensitive role with a fast interview and selection process.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning and coordination of clinical backload and EHR cutover activities
- Manage cutover workstreams, timelines, dependencies, and task tracking
- Coordinate across clinical, technical, and operational stakeholders
- Support go-live readiness and command center activities
- Identify risks, issues, and blockers and drive resolution
- Maintain detailed documentation aligned to healthcare standards
- Support limited on-site go-live activities (5–10 days total)
Required Experience
- 3–4 years of Project Management experience
- Healthcare IT experience with EHR cutover, clinical backload, or go-live support
- Strong planning, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Excellent communication skills across technical and clinical teams
Preferred
- Epic or Cerner implementation experience
- PMP certification
- Experience supporting healthcare acquisitions or integrations
