We are seeking to add a motivated professional to our Franchise Development and Finance team. Reporting directly to the Director of Franchise Development and JCM executives, this individual will play a key role in transaction support, analytics and client communication.
Key Responsibilities
● Organize and review due diligence materials for presentation to internal executives, financial institutions, and potential buyers
● Participate in group calls, meetings, and presentations; accurately interpret, document, and disseminate timely updates to firm leadership
● Proactively support the Director and firm executives through strategic thinking, problem-solving, and initiative
● Serve as a secondary point of contact for potential buyers, including pre-screening candidates and coordinating information flow from initial offer through transaction close
● Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, meet deadlines, and effectively lead change efforts
● Conduct independent industry and market research
Specific Duties
● Analyze and review lease agreements, franchise agreements, tax returns, financial statements, loan documents, third-party appraisals, property condition assessments, surveys, and environmental reports
● Create, organize, and maintain JCM’s secure online data room for clients, advisors, financial institutions, and potential buyers
● Learn internal sales reporting systems to prepare weekly, monthly, and annual client reports
● Utilize Constant Contact to distribute firm announcements related to upcoming opportunities, completed transactions, and relevant industry news
● Coordinate with team members to ensure social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube) reflect current JCM announcements
● Coordinate M&A and loan closings with all involved parties
● Communicate business and legal requirements to borrowers
● Coordinate drafting of transaction documents
● Assist with post-closing documentation and tracking
● Support scheduling of deal flow and pipeline activities, including conference calls, meetings, and travel
● Perform additional day-to-day responsibilities as assigned by the Director
Core Competencies & Qualifications
● Ability to prepare M&A and commercial real estate offering materials by coordinating with clients and internal teams to gather and synthesize market and financial information
● Strong written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely present client business plans and capital requirements
● Proven ability to interface effectively with senior leadership, internal staff, and external advisors
● Capacity to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment
● Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail, particularly in reviewing and managing due diligence materials
