We are seeking a Systems Architect/Engineer – Space & Ground Communications to design, integrate, and deliver advanced SATCOM and space-ground communication solutions. This position requires experience in systems engineering, RF communications, and software/network integration, and will play a key role in developing mission-critical architectures supporting both government and commercial space operations.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee system integration across hardware, software, and network domains.
· Develop and execute verification and validation (V&V) test plans.
· Conduct RF link budgets, waveform analysis, and spectrum management.
· Support integration of software-defined radios (SDR) and network components.
· Collaborate with software teams to integrate signal processing and control interfaces.
· Develop and verify Network Management Systems (NMS) such as Zabbix, Viacontrol, or OpsCenter.
· Contribute to DevSecOps pipelines and hybrid cloud environments.
· Troubleshoot and validate performance during lab and field testing.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in RF, SATCOM, or space systems engineering.
· Strong background in integration, testing, and requirements verification.
· Proficiency in Python, Bash, or C++ for scripting and automation.
· Experience with Linux, virtualization, and IP networking.
· Familiarity with SDR platforms and satellite communication standards.

· Active TS/SCI clearance preferred.
Requirements:
· B.S. in Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent).
· U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD clearance required.
· Must work onsite in Colorado Springs, CO.
