Role Description
As a Founding Designer at Karis, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual and experiential identity of our brand and digital products. This is a full-time position where you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and leadership, to conceptualize and create intuitive, user-centric designs. Responsibilities include crafting product interfaces, defining design systems, conducting user research, and iterating on designs based on feedback. You will be an integral part of a dynamic and innovative team, directly contributing to the company's growth and success.
Qualifications
- Product Design, UX/UI Design, Interaction Design experience
- Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software
- Strong skills in Visual Design, Branding, and Typography
- Experience conducting User Research, Usability Testing, and implementing feedback
- Ability to create and maintain Design Systems and Style Guides
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote-first environment
- Ability to balance aesthetics with functionality to meet user and business needs
- Knowledge of Front-End Development principles (HTML, CSS) is a plus
