Position Summary
Faber-Castell USA is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and business-minded entry-level professional to join our Sales team as a Sales Coordinator. This role supports the Senior Director of Sales and Brand Development and key national accounts across account management, forecasting, sales analytics, and execution of sales and marketing programs.
This position is ideal for a motivated self-starter eager to build a strong foundation in sales strategy, customer relationships, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. The role offers a clear developmental path toward future growth into an Account Manager position.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & National Account Support
- Support day-to-day account management activities for major national accounts
- Provide detailed follow-up to ensure flawless execution of agreed-upon sales and marketing programs
- Assist with customer communications, presentations, and follow-up materials
- Complete item setup sheets and maintain accurate, up-to-date product listings across key account portals
- Oversee processing and coordination of product samples to key accounts
- Maintain accurate customer records, pricing, and sales documentation
Forecasting, Data & Analytics
- Compile, manipulate, and analyze sales, POS, and forecasting data using Excel and internal systems
- Support forecasting meetings and provide portal forecasts to purchasing and supply chain teams
- Prepare sales reports, dashboards, and performance summaries
- Identify trends, variances, risks, and growth opportunities within sales data
Meeting & Presentation Support
- Prepare agendas, presentations, recaps, and supporting materials for internal and external meetings
- Capture meeting notes, action items, and follow-ups
- Assist with sales presentations, trade shows, and planogram (POG) merchandising as needed
Cross-Functional & Operational Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Finance, Purchasing, and Supply Chain teams
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and finance teams to support sales initiatives
- Assist with special projects related to sales strategy, brand development, or new business opportunities
Qualifications & Skills
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong proficiency in Excel; ability to analyze and manipulate data confidently
- Proficient in PowerPoint with experience creating professional presentations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail with a strong follow-through mindset
- Positive, high-energy attitude and strong work ethic
Preferred
- Internship or entry-level experience in sales, analytics, customer service, or account support
- Experience with CRM systems, key account portals, or sales reporting tools
- Interest in building a long-term career in sales, account management, or sales leadership
- Consumer product marketing or sales experience preferred
Travel
- Occasional travel may be required for customer meetings, sales events, or internal meetings

This role is designed as a developmental position with a defined growth path into an Account Manager role.
