Position Overview
PPRC is seeking a Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to strengthen and elevate our digital presence. This role blends strategy and execution, ensuring our content is mission-aligned, visually compelling, and performance-driven across social media, email, and web platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Planning
- Develop and manage an annual content strategy aligned with organizational goals
- Create and maintain monthly editorial calendars
- Ensure consistent messaging, branding, and engagement growth
Content Creation & Distribution
- Create engaging posts, videos, graphics, and photos
- Coordinate quarterly content creation sessions
- Publish content across up to three social media platforms
Paid Social Media & Campaign Support
- Recommend and support paid ads and boosted content
- Assist with digital promotion of fundraising and outreach campaigns
Email Marketing & Website Support
- Draft and distribute e-newsletters and announcements
- Support basic website updates and content refreshes
Community Engagement
- Monitor platforms daily
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries professionally
Analytics & Reporting
- Track performance metrics and engagement trends
- Prepare quarterly performance reports with insights and recommendations
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of 2 years managing social media for a business or organization
- Strong writing, storytelling, visual, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with tools such as Canva, Meta Business Suite, and scheduling/analytics platforms
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high quality
- Demonstrated commitment to community empowerment
Preferred
- Experience in nonprofit, maternal health, or youth-serving organizations
- Photography and video editing skills
- Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing concepts
Work Environment
- Hybrid role after 90 days of in-office training
- Remote work with occasional in-person attendance for bi-weekly staff meetings, community events, and content collection
Compensation
- $15–$18/hour, based on experience
- 15 hours per week with a flexible schedule
- Occasional evening or weekend hours as needed
- Mileage reimbursement for work-related travel
