We are scaling rapidly from $4M+ to $8M+ in revenue and are building the financial infrastructure needed to support disciplined growth.
Role OverviewWe are hiring a Finance Analyst to support leadership with cash flow visibility, margin analysis, and operational finance reporting across multiple entities.
This is not a traditional corporate FP&A role. This is a hands-on finance role designed for someone who wants exposure to real operations, imperfect data, and direct impact.
You will work closely with leadership to provide timely, accurate financial insights that support decision-making as the company scales.
Key ResponsibilitiesCash Flow & Working Capital
- Maintain a weekly cash flow tracker across multiple entities
- Monitor inflows, outflows, and cash risk
- Track accounts receivable aging and customer payment behavior
Financial & Margin Analysis
- Prepare margin analysis by service line (freight, customs, SaaS, domestic transportation)
- Analyze customer profitability, cost trends, and margin leakage
- Support pricing and deal-level financial analysis
Financial Reporting
- Prepare budget vs actual analysis
- Support month-end close through reconciliations and data validation
- Build and maintain management dashboards and financial reports
Operational Finance Support
- Partner with operations and sales teams on financial analysis
- Track vendor spend and operating expenses
- Support forecasting and scenario modeling initiatives
What This Role Is NotTo set expectations clearly:
- This is not a Controller or CFO position
- You will not set accounting policy or GAAP interpretation
- You will escalate issues rather than independently changing accounting decisions
Success in this role comes from clarity, insight, and communication, not silent fixes.
QualificationsRequired
- 2–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, or operations finance
- Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills
- Experience working with financial data, reconciliations, and reporting
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment
- 1 day in office per week
Preferred
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, SaaS, or services businesses
- Exposure to AR/AP processes
- Startup or small-company experience
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems
