Job Summary:
We are looking for a Category Specialist to support and grow our food categories with a strong focus on pricing execution, promotion planning, brand development, and category strategy.
This role requires an ownership mindset, business understanding, and data-driven decision-making.
Familiarity with Korean and Japanese food brands, products, and trends is a strong plus.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute pricing and promotion plans, including price updates, deal setup, and post-promotion performance tracking
- Support category and brand development execution, such as SKU assortment maintenance, product lifecycle tracking, and basic performance analysis
- Assist with product sourcing and onboarding, including supplier coordination, item setup, and internal process follow-up
- Track and analyze sales, margin, inventory, and promotion data to support daily and weekly category operations
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer demand, and summarize key findings for the team
- Ensure tasks move forward on time and with attention to detail, proactively following up on open items

- Education: Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree, related to Business/Marketing is a plus.
- Bilingual Chinese and English, Japanese or Korean is a big plus.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience or strong familiarity with Korean and/or Japanese food brands and products
- Background in e-commerce, retail, category management, or sourcing
- Experience supporting pricing, promotion, or category operations
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with employees and brands through networking
- Detail-oriented, self-starter with a positive attitude who is deadline and results-oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
