The Role
We are looking for an FP&A analyst or associate to join our Management Company Finance team. The role will support the company’s forecasting and planning processes, partnering closely with Finance leadership and cross‑functional teams to deliver insights that inform business decision‑making.
Responsibilities
- Support revenue modeling, including forecasting management fees and performance fees across the Blue Owl platform
- Assist in developing scenario and sensitivity analyses to quantify revenue opportunities and risks, informing guidance and resource allocation decisions
- Prepare quarterly platform‑level revenue reporting for senior leadership, including variance analysis against budget
- Contribute to the annual budgeting cycle and long‑range planning processes
- Partner with teams across Finance (management company accounting, SEC reporting, tax, fund accounting) and the broader organization to understand key business drivers impacting actual results and forecasts
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting for revenue KPIs (FPAUM, management fees, performance income, net new flows, etc.) and communicate insights to Finance leadership and business partners
- Support enhancements to planning systems (e.g., Anaplan), including documenting SOPs, maintaining model governance, and implementing improvements for revenue forecasting
- Produce ad hoc analysis and assist on special projects for finance leadership and management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 2 to 5 years of relevant financial planning and analysis experience; alternative asset management experience is a plus
- Experience with financial modeling and analysis
- Experience with FP&A systems; Anaplan experience is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
It is expected that the base annual salary range for this New Jersey based position will be $85,000 - $115,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
