Buddy + Co. is a boutique brand incubator and agency partnering with founder-led fashion, home, and lifestyle brands. We sit at the intersection of strategy, commerce, and taste, and we’re entering a season where visibility matters as much as execution.
We’re looking for a Marketing & Social Media Assistant to help bring the Buddy + Co. brand to life across social, content, and creative. This role supports the founder directly and plays a meaningful part in shaping how Buddy + Co. shows up in the world. This is not a “post and ghost” role. It’s hands-on, creative, and strategic.
What You’ll Do
- Support social media execution across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, including posting, formatting, scheduling, and light community engagement
- Assist with content creation, including short-form video, behind-the-scenes moments, brand graphics, and campaign assets
- Help manage and maintain a weekly content calendar tied to visibility goals, launches, and thought leadership
- Capture and edit content in-person in Dallas (office days, meetings, shoots, events, founder POV moments)
- Create on-brand graphics and assets using Canva (and Adobe tools if applicable)
- Assist with creative prep for campaigns, decks, presentations, and internal content
- Keep brand assets organized and ensure everything feels polished, consistent, and intentional
Who You Are
- Based in Dallas, TX, and available for in-person work
- Have a strong eye for design, tone, and aesthetics, especially in fashion, home, and lifestyle
- Comfortable editing short-form video and working quickly without sacrificing taste
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple moving pieces without hand-holding
- Curious about branding, founders, and how businesses grow, not just how posts perform
- Confident enough to bring ideas, grounded enough to take direction
Experience
- 1–3 years supporting social media, content, or marketing (agency or brand side)
- Proficiency in Canva required, Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn best practices
- Copy instincts matter. You don’t need to be a novelist, but you should know what sounds right
Details
- Part-time, ~20 hours per week to start
- In-person required (Dallas) with some flexibility
- Opportunity to grow into a larger role as visibility and content output scale
If you’re someone who notices details, cares about craft, and wants to help build a brand that supports other brands, this role is for you!
