Who You Are:
Sales Performance & KPIs
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
- Track conversion rates, average ticket value, and upsell/cross-sell metrics
- Use CRM or self-developed systems to manage pipelines, follow-ups, and reporting
Custom Furniture & Materials Expertise
- Strong knowledge of upholstery, case goods, finishes, textiles, and custom manufacturing
- Confident educating clients on construction quality, durability, and value
- Understand best practices for furniture placement, room design, and floor plans
Design & Visualization Tools
- Create floor plans by hand or using industry-standard software
- Navigate digital catalogs and tools to build virtual presentations
Client & Showroom Presentation
- Curate thoughtful product assortments for client appointments
- Present concepts using swatches, samples, and digital assets
- Lead in-person and virtual consultations with confidence and clarity
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
- Manage orders, lead times, and logistics for custom products
- Collaborate with manufacturers, workrooms, and installers for seamless delivery
Project & Budget Management
- Comfortably discuss budgets, constraints, and expectations
- Oversee projects from concept through final installation
- Prepare accurate estimates and proposals aligned with client goals
Industry Awareness & Market Insight
- Stay current on luxury home trends, product launches, and competitor offerings
- Participate in trade shows and track designer collaborations
- Understand luxury client buying behaviors and adapt strategies accordingly
Data-Driven Client Relationships
- Segment clients and track purchase history to drive repeat business
- Maintain long-term relationships through consistent, timely follow-up
What You’ll Do:
- Design Solutions: Guide clients in selecting furniture, rugs, flooring, window treatments, accessories, and more
- Personalized Experiences: Source in-stock and special-order products tailored to individual needs
- Client Engagement: Provide proactive order updates, timelines, and issue resolution
- Creative Problem-Solving: Deliver thoughtful solutions that align with client goals
- Sales Excellence: Thrive in a fast-paced retail environment while providing a polished, enjoyable experience
