HVAC Site Engineer – Summary:
A high-growth tech company specializing in sustainable indoor air quality management with headquarters in London UK, an R&D office in Copenhagen, Denmark, and a US office in Brooklyn, New York, is currently looking to hire an HVAC Site Engineer here in the US. The ideal candidate will reside in the Tri-state, New York area with a travel requirement up to 50%.
The HVAC Site Engineer will assist in expansion, and growth of the US market and report to the US CEO. We are looking for a candidate that can travel to sites of new and existing clients to investigate existing HVAC systems of various designs and assist in the analysis and optimization of existing ventilation systems.
HVAC Site Engineer – Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze the information on clients’ HVAC systems
- Run related measurements using measuring tools such as an anemometer, pressure gauge, and power meter
- Identify and engage with potential customers to generate leads, and sales opportunities
- With help from the R&D team, provide technical expertise and guidance to customers on product selection, installation, and maintenance
- Collaborate with the internal team, including engineering and marketing, to develop and improve products based on customer feedback and market trends
- Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide insights and feedback for business development strategies
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to identify both expansion and growth opportunities
- Travel to the client sites (up to 50% travel)
HVAC Site Engineer – Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field REQUIRED
- 4-6+ years of experience in technical sales or engineering, preferably within real estate, workplace services, facility management, or HVAC
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand customer needs, and communicate complex ventilation-related concepts to clients and partners
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a technical, innovative environment
- Good collaboration skills as the person will work with the R&D team, clients, and sales team
- Ability to travel based on territory alignment and region and to attend industry conferences
- Respond effectively to RFPs

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
