Position Overview
Outset Global is seeking a highly motivated Trading Operations Analyst to join our New York outsourced trading desk. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth execution, settlement, and operational integrity of equity trades on behalf of our institutional asset management clients. The successful candidate will work directly with traders, clients, prime brokers, and internal compliance teams to maintain operational excellence and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
Trade Operations & Settlement
• Monitor all trade activity on a daily basis for outsourced trading desk clients across US/Canadian
and LatAm equity markets
• Review all trades for proper settlement and coordinate internally on all open settlements and fails
• Work directly with clients, prime brokerage client service representatives, and trading counterparties
to ensure timely settlement on market transactions
• Immediately escalate open settlements, fails, and trade detail discrepancies to appropriate
stakeholders
• Ensure all client trades are accurately reported in trade portals and at counterparties
• Process trade confirmations, allocations, and modifications with accuracy and attention to detail
• Maintain and reconcile daily trade blotters and position records
Client Support & Relationship Management
• Act as secondary point of contact for client inquiries regarding trade execution, settlement, and
operational matters
• Collaborate with adjacent teams to address client and counterparty requests, including local market
trade instructions and settlement issues
• Assist with onboarding new clients and testing new client connectivity setups
• Provide operational support for prime brokerage custody and swap clients
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external counterparties, brokers, and
custodians
Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure compliance with SEC, FINRA, and other applicable regulatory requirements governing trade
execution and reporting
• Perform and evidence the performance of daily operational controls and reconciliations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory recordkeeping
requirements
• Participate in the firm's AML/SAR monitoring programs as it relates to trading activity
• Identify and escalate potential trade errors, compliance issues, or operational risks promptly
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries
Process Improvement & Systems Support
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve operational processes and workflows
• Support trading system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new functionality
• Document procedures and controls for trade operations activities
• Execute data queries and coordinate with technology teams to resolve system issues
• Contribute to the development of operational infrastructure supporting desk growth
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
• 2-7 years of experience in trading operations, equity operations, or related role within a broker-
dealer or institutional trading environment
• Experience supporting equity and options trade processing preferred
• Knowledge of the complete trade lifecycle from execution through settlement
Regulatory & Technical Knowledge
• Working knowledge of SEC and FINRA regulations governing equity trading and broker-dealer
operations
• Understanding of US equity market structure, settlement conventions, and regulatory requirements
• Familiarity with prime brokerage operations, custody arrangements, and OMS/EMS platforms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications

Preferred Qualifications
• FINRA Series 99 and SIE (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire)
• Experience working with outsourced trading desks or multi-client trading platforms
• Understanding of derivatives operations and prime brokerage arrangements
• Experience with order management systems (Enfusion, Alphadesk, Eze EMS,EMSX or similar)

Reports To: CFO
Hours: Core trading hours 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM ET, with flexibility required during month-end, quarter-end, and market events
